This area of need encompasses Sensory difficulties, such as visual or hearing impairments.  It also describes physical disabilities or impairments.

SENSORY IMPAIRMENTS:

Children with visual or hearing impairments can be supported by the SENSORY SUPPORT SERVICE, who will visit the school and put together a bespoke package of support.  

PHYSICAL DISABILITIES:

Children with physical disabilities will often have input from the Children's Hospital, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and other specialist health professionals.
