Year 1
Welcome to Year 1
A very warm welcome to Year 1! Year 1 is the first exciting step into Key Stage 1 and here we will be sharing with you the wonderful learning experiences that our Year 1 curriculum provides. We can't wait to meet your child and work together with you to help them learn and grow.
Meet the team
We have two classes in Year 1, Foxes and Squirrels.
Miss Pennell teaches Squirrels.
Mrs Jewell teaches Foxes on a Monday. Miss Lamb teaches Foxes on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
We have two wonderful Teaching Assistants supporting us with our learning in Year 1. Mrs Byford works in both classes and Mrs Kemp works as a 1:1 in Squirrels.
As a team, we are looking forward to working with your children and are excited to share their journey with you. You will find updates on our class pages and via the Studybugs app.
